Hey guys, I’m Brendan. I’m 21 and a senior at Boston University studying broadcast journalism. Following the Red Sox has always been one of my greatest passions, even as I grew up over in enemy territory, Syracuse, NY. I look forward to proving ourselves capable of making BloodySox your one stop destination for all things Boston Red Sox!
Hey, I’m Andrew. I’m 16 and I’m the site admin, editor, and writer. I’ve been a Red Sox fan as far back as I can remember and my fandom has never wavered. I was born in Boston, but now I live in Louisville, Colorado. I’m also a fan of the Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins. I am very interested in Moneyball, Sabermetrics and baseball stats in general. I’m also a big minor league baseball fan, and I love following the young players development. I play basketball, football, and golf and I watch every Celtics/Patriots/Red Sox/Bruins game I possibly can.
Hi everyone, my name is Mark, and I’m a proud contributor to this site. I’m 20 years old and currently a Junior at Seton Hall University, majoring in Sport Management. The Red Sox are in my blood, as I’ve been a fan since I was 6 years old, and I couldn’t imagine supporting another baseball team. I was born and raised in Framingham, MA, but I now live in South Orange, NJ. In addition to supporting the Sox, I also love my Bruins, Pats, and C’s. I plan on pursuing my Master’s Degree upon graduation, and am very excited about the road ahead.
Hello all, my name is Michael Green. I’m 20 years old and a sophomore at the Ohio State University, majoring in Sports Management. I currently play baseball for an Ohio State branch campus in Mansfield, Ohio and coach an 18 year old traveling team during the summer. I’ve been a Red Sox fan all my life and look forward to the opportunity to interact with all of you.
Hey guys, welcome to the blog. I’m Nick, 21-year old recent graduate from Quinnipiac University, and future CPA. Moneyball might just be my favorite book of all time, and being an accountant, numbers and analysis are favorite hobbies of mine, so expect a ton of knowledge and number crunching in my posts, but also a fair amount of humor. I also happen to be a Celtics, Bruins, and Cowboys fan, but my one true passion in sports are my Red Sox, and I’ll be a Royal Rooter forever! Follow me on Twitter, let’s argue balls and strikes together!
Hello fellow Red Sox fans. My name is Wessel Brocken. I’m 19 years old. I’ve been a hardcore Sox fan since 2006 after my dad went to Boston for business.
Unlike my colleagues at BloodySox, I’m not from the United States, I live in the Netherlands. Life’s tough here from time to time for a Red Sox fan, and a baseball fan in general. Together with Matt McGrath I’ll take care of the Red Sox prospect section in our blog. I’ve been to Fenway once in 2007. And I play baseball myself, for what it’s worth. Enjoy our site!
Matt is the senior member of the original blogging staff and runs the daily risk of being put out to pasture at the ripe old age of 22. Born and raised in Boston, MA, Matt has been a lifelong Red Sox fan, long enough to point out Mo Vaughn and Aaron Sele as his first favorite players. He is looking forward to collaborating with the rest of the staff in covering the Red Sox minor league prospects and affiliates, as well as making the occasional foray up to the Major League level.
Hey, I’m TJ. I’m 34 and am currently in Law Enforcement. I grew up two blocks from McCoy Stadium, home of the Pawtucket Red Sox, and even worked for them for a couple years growing up. I’ve been a Red Sox fan for as long as I can remember. I currently live near Albany, NY in enemy territory. I coach little league and pop warner football. I serve my country in the NY Air National Guard and I also enjoy long walks on the beach and high thread count sheets.
Jeff has been a Red Sox fan since 1966. His career peaked as a High School pitcher with arm problems. He discovered Rotoball and Bill James in the early 90′s. He then started coaching youth baseball in ’97. Jeff has coached hundreds of youngsters in baseball since then. Now retired, Jeff spends much of his time traveling to watch (older boy in college) and watch/coach his younger boy in basketball and baseball.
What’s up Red Sox Nation. My name is Mike Graham and I’m 28 years old. Born and raised in enemy territory. I’m a 3rd generation Sox fan, and have loved the team my whole life. I hope to bringsome good insight and knowledge to the site.
My name is Josh and I live in the ghetto of South Eastern Virginia (not by choice). I’ve been following the Red Sox religiously since 2000. I constantly get in fights with my girlfriend when she asks, “What are we doing tonight?” Duhhh we’re watching the Red Sox. I am an alumni of Tidewater Community College as well as Old Dominion University (think Justin Verlander.) My favorite Red Sox player is Dustin Pedroia hands down – he’s done so much with so little. As far as other hobbies they include: fly fishing, running, volleyball, XBOX live, hiking, and making money.
